MAG'S 31st Annual Spring Artfest |

It
was a privilege to chair the Spring Artfest this year. Everyone has
commented on the high quality of the artwork in this show, and how
difficult it must have been to judge it. Thanks to all of the
artists for sharing their work, the many members who helped put the
show together, Lake
Norman Realty
for
putting the reception together, and of course
Speedball Art Products
for
being our primary sponsor and supporting the Mooresville Artist
Guild for these many years.
I’ve enjoyed working on the Spring Artfest for
the past five years or so, but I believe it’s time for some fresh
talent and new ideas. It’s also time for me to move on to something
else. Whoever chairs this show next year will find that it’s a big
but worthwhile project, and there are always lots of willing
volunteers to help with it.
